Zsnes
is the best and fastest Super Nintendo emulator out there! It renders
all of the SNES''s graphical effects, including scaling, Mode-7, paralax
scrolling, etc etc. So far, all sounds and colors for most of the
games are correct, with the exception of a handful of games. As usual
the ASM version runs the fastest, but may crash here or there sometimes
(which is rare for any emulator written in ASM code). The C version
is more stable, but a little slower unless your machine is tough enough.
There are no emulators for the SNES for Windows... well, no RELIABLE ones
worth putting online here, anyhow. The ZSNES emulator lets you play
such classic as Super Ghouls N Ghosts, Super Contra, Super Castlevania
4, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Act Raiser, Super R-Type, Super
Metroid and almost all the rest of the SNES games!
